The Climax of The Great Gatsby
The climax of the Great Gatsby is when Gatsby meets Daisy at Nicks house. Gatsby Arranges for tea to be had at toms house so that he may meet Daisy. Gatsby is very Nervous about the event because he is in love with Daisy but he has seen her for many years. He has Tom's yard mowed and flowers brought into his house for the occasion. When Gatsby and Daisy first see each other it is at first very acquired, however, they soon begin to talk like they had before. This scene is the climax of the book because it is when Gatsby comes head to head with Daisy and has a chance to achieve his ultimate goal.
