Over the course of the school year I have read numerous books for ELA. My favorite of these books was The Odyssey by Homer. I really enjoyed reading this book because I found it very interesting and I was amazed at how the hero's journey was portrayed the same in 725 BCE as it is now. My least favorite book was Frederick Douglass. This was not my least favorite book because of its story or themes. Rather, I found it to be very biographical and at times unexciting.
